MEET LATANYA
I know what it means to lead when the pressure is real.
For 25 years, I served in law-enforcement communications, where calm decisions, clear communication, and steady leadership mattered every day. Later, my work as a registered nurse deepened my understanding of what it means to care for people while carrying responsibility.
Those experiences—and my own journey of learning to lead myself well—shaped Steady Under Pressure. I created this cohort to help leaders strengthen their self-awareness, emotional resilience, clarity, and confidence without losing themselves beneath the weight of leadership.
EXPERIENCE THAT SHAPES MY WORK
PUBLIC SAFETY LEADERSHIP
Twenty-five years in law-enforcement communications—including supervising teams and navigating high-pressure situations—taught me the importance of calm decisions, clear communication, and steady leadership.
REGISTERED NURSE
My clinical experience strengthened my ability to listen closely, communicate clearly, and care for people through uncertainty, responsibility, and change.
LEADERSHIP FACILITATOR
I create honest, practical spaces where leaders can reflect, strengthen their self-awareness, and apply what they learn to real-world leadership challenges.
WHY I CREATED STEADY UNDER PRESSURE
Leadership can look composed on the outside while carrying tremendous weight underneath. I created Steady Under Pressure for leaders who are responsible for others but need space to strengthen the person carrying that responsibility.
My faith, values, and real-world experience shape the way I facilitate—with honesty, compassion, reflection, and practical application. This six-week cohort gives leaders room to develop greater resilience, clarity, and confidence when the pressure is high.
